I was recently invited to present the liberal case for Israel at Berkeley. In my remarks I advocated the establishment of a Palestinian state and a negotiated end of the conflict.

Don't be intellectually lazy and dismiss this simply because it appears on Fox News. This was written by Alan Dershowitz-a life long democrat. The points he makes here are not only valid, but crucial to understanding the hypocrisy and nuances of today's left. Most liberals see themselves, rightly or wrongly, as a bulwark against racism, and as defenders of minorities, yet real antisemitism, very serious manifestations of bigotry disguised as mere political differences with Israel, is rampant on the left and people, perhaps in denial, are totally silent. Thie hypocrisy needs to end.
